Pedunculated Fibroids

I have just been diagnosed with fibroids. Both inside and outside of the uterus wall. The one outside being pedunculated. Although they are not that large in scale I suffer from continuous lower left pelvic pain, lower back pain and my periods are moving further and further up each month. Is this normal for fibroid sufferers? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

i can only say i had a very large fibroid removed which was found after extreme heavy bleeding, since my uterous was spared heavy bleeding began again and now i am being treated with an IUD (birthcontrol)
